This large resources business, long seen as an employer of choice due to their flexibility and supportive culture, has a rare opportunity to join the team on a part time contract initially for a 12 month contract.
... Your responsibilities will include:
- Working with procurement, commercial & project stakeholders to manage all procurement/sourcing, tendering and negotiation activities for your projects.
- Providing contract management and administration support to contract owners throughout the contract life-cycle.
- Building strong connections with key stakeholders to become a respected contract specialist.
- Assist in updating contracts and/or expanding Scopes of Work.
- Assist in tendering, negotiation of complex and high value contracts.
- Lead negotiations with suppliers, and manage contracts from start to finish.
- Work collaboratively with the wider business to deliver procurement & project outcomes to tight timeframes.
What you will need to apply:
- Proven ability to successfully manage all stages of the procurement and contracting lifecycle on a project basis.
- 5 years experience in procurement and/or contracts management in heavy industry, resources, energy, utilities, infrastructure/construction etc.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- This is a Perth based role, offered on a 12 month contract initially. Work from home flexibility is available.
