My client is currently looking for a Procurement Analyst to fill a short term role, working as part of the Procurement team. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting key or complex sourcing projects
  • Working with key stakeholders to establish the commercial project management strategies
  • Ensuring all procurement activities are delivered successfully and on time
  • Analysing current procurement contracts, spend and trends across the business
  • Establishing supplier performance management metrics, ensuring delivery of all agreed commercial outcomes
  • Working closely with the Procurement team to ensure they are consistently maximising delivery opportunities.

This is a short term role where you will need to establish strong relationships with internal stakeholders and be effective from day one; you wil be working as part of a small procurement team and very closely with the strategic Director of Procurement.

To be successful in this role you must have sound knowledge of procurement processes and principles as well as strong influencing, stakeholder engagement and change management capabilities. As an analyst, ideally you will a relevant degree although this is not essential. You will also have experience in building out negotiation plans for approval, and be able to support and help to lead supplier negotiations.
