About the roleThe Wax Room Operator is responsible for creating fragile wax moulds using a range of machines and tools following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). They are also responsible for contributing to a conducive team culture and work environment. Duties Operate a range of machines including injection presses, wax welders, flame torches, bandsaw, hand tools, and knives. Follow the production schedule to meet targets.Maintain and take care of dies.Ensure tooling and equipment are in good working order.Maintain a clean and disciplined work area.Maintain a safe work environment for self and fellow workersOther duties as required.
