About the Role:

As a Principal Technical Specialist, you will take a leading role in the design, deployment, and configuration of Endpoint Protection Platforms (EPP) and Vulnerability Management Services (VMS). You will provide expert technical implementation, analysis, and advice to ensure the successful delivery of critical security solutions. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will play a pivotal role in driving security innovations and maintaining the resilience of health service networks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and deployment of EPP and VMS technologies.
• Provide high-level technical support to ensure security systems are operational and effective.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver security solutions within project timelines.
• Conduct regular maintenance, updates, and performance tuning of security tools.
• Partner with stakeholders to implement technical security plans and enhance system resilience.

About You:

• Strong experience and knowledge of Endpoint Security and Vulnerability Management architectures, technologies, and best practices.
• Expertise in core technologies including:
• Active Directory
• Windows 10 Operating Systems
• Virtual Infrastructure
• Unix/Linux Server Operating Environments
• Cloud Services
• Enterprise Endpoint and Vulnerability Management Products
• Proven ability to manage and configure endpoint security tools such as antivirus software, IDS/IPS, and DLP solutions.
• Knowledge of next-generation antivirus tools and their capabilities in detecting and preventing advanced threats like ransomware and zero-day attacks.
• Proficiency in vulnerability assessment tools and scanners, with the ability to interpret scan results and prioritise remediation efforts.
• Understanding of network architecture, security protocols, and practices, including SIEM and SOAR platforms.
• Experience delivering ICT solutions in large, complex, federated, and geographically dispersed environments.
