Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across the Primary P-6 curriculum within a contemporary, well-resourced learning environment.
Demonstrate highly effective classroom management techniques that create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Actively contribute to the school’s mission by integrating the Catholic ethos and promoting the wellbeing (emotional, social, and spiritual) of every student.
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, ensuring all learning needs are met and supporting students to achieve their personal best.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues across the P-12 precinct, leadership, and the wider school community.
Essential Requirements
The successful applicant will demonstrate:
VIT Registration: Current full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
Qualifications: Appropriate tertiary qualifications and experience for Primary teaching (P-6).
Ethos Alignment: A strong understanding of and commitment to the mission and ethos of a Catholic school, focusing on developing a caring, faith-filled community.
Educational Commitment: A proven capacity to promote educational excellence and nurture the holistic growth and well-being of all students.
