About the Role ...
The role includes both management and a small clinical component (1 day per week) and offers a flexible working arrangement, including one work-from-home day. A vehicle will be provided for work-related travel.
Key Responsibilities
Lead strategy development and business planning for the clinic
Manage staff recruitment, development, rostering, and performance
Oversee day-to-day operations, risk, compliance, and quality processes
Drive financial sustainability through budgeting and reporting
Strengthen community relationships and stakeholder engagement
Support implementation of clinical software, systems, and accreditation
Provide clinical support (0.2 FTE) as a registered or enrolled nurse
What We’re Looking For
AHPRA registered Registered Nurse (Div 1) or Endorsed Enrolled Nurse (Div 2)
Minimum 7 years’ experience in medical practice management
Strong leadership, people management and HR experience
Sound knowledge of Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) and funding models
Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and medical practice software
Current Police Check, Working with Children Check, Driver’s Licence
COVID-19, Influenza and Hepatitis B vaccinations (as per industry standards)
Desirable
Degree in Health Administration, Business or equivalent experience
Member of AAPM and/or accredited medical practice management training
Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, adolescent, aged care, or CALD communities
