Randstad Data is on the hunt for a Power Platform/Power Apps Developer to join a large organisation for a 2-year contract. This role will work closely with project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to design and develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions using Power Platform tools like PowerApps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Power BI.
Responsibilities:
- Create, configure, and maintain Power Apps, Power Pages, and Power Automate workflows.
- Work with business users and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Participate in the full software development life cycle (SDLC) including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Participate in Scrum based project teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Collaborate with Power Platform Administrators and Developers to identify and implement reusable components.
- Collaborate with Integration Teams to design, test and resolve issues related to data
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power Platform solutions.
- Stay up to date with the latest Power Platform features and recommend innovative solutions to improve business processes.
Necessary Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience developing custom solutions using Power Platform.
- Strong understanding of Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Familiar with Power Pages
- Proficient in Power Query, Power Pivot, and DAX formulas.
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
