Due to sustained growth, they are looking for an experienced Electronics Quality Technician to join their ranks. This is a role with a long term growth opportunity to progress toward a leadership position. What is the role? You will play a key role in working with the product development and operations teams to ensure all of Davey’s electronics products are operating efficiently to meet high customer standards. Your core responsibilities include;Assess and support the development of R&D test plans and product validation plans to ensure new products are reliableFault finding & failure investigation of electrical and electronic products as required by operations, service and R&D. Develop QA audit processes/ tests to support ongoing right-first-time production, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes. Work with Product engineering team to develop new products and improve existing product range. Develop continuous improvement and audit processes to ensure that key PCBA’s & components are durable and reliable before they are assembled into Davey products.Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders What does the ideal candidate look like? Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering or a similar trade qualification;Experience as an electronics technician within a product development environment;Demonstrated experience in testing and auditing electronic components and products;Knowledge of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing;Excellent interpersonal/communication skills to liaise with suppliers and other stakeholders Whats on offer? Your core responsibilities include;Develop and improve the manufacturing processes in the plant;Work with the design to implement practical and cost effective applications in manufacturing of productsCoordinate with production and maintenance to improve and optimise the product development on the shop floor;Implement LEAN / Six Sigma to improve productivity and reduce waste;Develop strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders;Identify opportunities for new tooling and equipment to be commissioned on site; What does the ideal candidate look like?
