Job Responsibilities:
As a Planner/Scheduler, you will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and managing project schedules and the overarching program schedule. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing construction programmes for inclusion in tender submissions.
- Coordinating with project managers, team members, and stakeholders to gather necessary information, update schedules, and provide accurate reporting on project progress.
- Demonstrating an ability to operate across a range of project types, employing standards and practices as set by the National and Regional Project Controls & Planning teams.
- Analysing schedules and other project controls data and metrics to identify risks and opportunities.
- Developing and maintaining high-quality and robust master integrated schedules for major projects based on industry best practices.
- Providing input and feedback on the development and ongoing maintenance of project controls systems, including schedule, cost management and forecasting, risk register, change control register, and resource planning.
Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in scheduling commercial construction projects.
- Expertise in planning and scheduling software packages
- Strong knowledge of construction planning and programming principles, standards, and methodologies.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving skills, and high attention to detail.
- Proficient in project financial reporting with strong planning skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with well-developed interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
