Your new role

As the Digital Marketing Manager, you will support and drive the execution of all integrated digital awareness and demand generation programs for the Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) marketplace. With a background in digital marketing, you will have a data-driven approach towards your digital execution to drive strong campaign results.

The ideal candidate must be a strategic thinker, problem solver and motivated individual. The role provides you with the opportunity to grow enterprise and mid-market business through executing impactful and exciting digital marketing programs across the ANZ region.

Key duties

Marketing Business Planning

  • Collaboration with Field Marketing Directors and senior members of the team to develop and manage annual and quarterly marketing business plans in line with changing and evolving business priorities
  • Champion insight driven and dynamic marketing planning that is aligned to market and competitive landscape in APAC, business priorities, demand management methodologies, corporate marketing priorities and historic benchmarks within APAC Marketing.
  • Collaborate with teams across marketing and other lines of business providing Insight Driven Marketing Services consisting of organizing, mining, and analyzing data to build advanced analytics and data models to provide decision support based on factual data.
  • Anticipate a wide spectrum of customer needs and drive the market research process to implement improved strategies and processes that have a lasting impact on marketing operations.
  • Optimize and simplify the planning process for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage and improve planning tools & templates to drive clarity and simplicity in strategy and planning.
  • Lead input gathering and consolidation into planning templates/tools.
  • Budget Management in conjunction with the Senior Marketing Director. Traced weekly.

Marketing Performance Management

  • Collaborate with the JAPAC team on campaign reporting and consolidation to gain insights into campaign performance and customer engagement.
  • Identify customer behavior patterns and analytical insights for marketing initiatives, planning and tracking.
  • Drive action plans to meet marketing business commitments and operational cadence to improve marketing performance.
  • Develop localized ANZ reporting, based on the JAPAC reporting that provides actionable insights for the ANZ Marketing Team and broader business. ANZ has some unique characteristics such as a direct to sales lead progression model for Cloud Platform sales that will require a customized approach. The ANZ business also places a higher emphasis on Primary and Secondary engaged pipeline and requires customized reporting to capture and track “influence” results.
  • Partner with subject matter experts in cross functional teams to identify business problems, model and frame strategic solutions that are critical to business success.
  • Develop a strong working relationship with the ANZ Digital leader to help understand and assist with measurement of Digital and Social Campaigns by tactic.
  • Develop strong business partnerships with senior management through regular meetings and workshops to improve their knowledge in metrics, processes and insights impacting their areas.
  • Be engaged as a consulting partner for all data driven projects, decision support, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Explore and utilize new analytical tools, research into new metrics and processes which will enhance customer journey and their engagement.
  • Collaborate with ANZ and APAC Business Operations to align on demand generation management, preparation of quarterly business reviews.
  • Collaborate with the broader ANZ Operations Community to gain an understanding of local business imperatives that will have a bearing on marketing.
  • Drive regular marketing business reviews with key leaders in ANZ Field Marketing and APAC.
  • Marketing to ensure marketing performance is on track as per the committed plans and deliverables.

Your skills and experience

  • Min 6 years’ experience in a related digital insight /marketing role analyzing campaign/consumer data with a strong analytical background.
  • Strong written communication and collaboration skills are required to accommodate the high degree of interdepartmental communication that is required to position the marketing function effectively.
  • Exposure to Business Operations. Marketing or Sales Regional Offices regular reporting and research
  • Strong interest and relevant experience in data analysis and visualisation.
  • Have a deep level of understanding of the digital platform features / roadmaps, industry best practices, tools for execution, measurements and analytics.
  • Advanced Excel skills (macros, pivot tables, vlookup, etc).
  • Experience in web analytic tools such as Webtrekk, Adobe Site Catalyst, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Google Trends.
  • Paid Social, Search and Strategy all advantageous.
