Our client is looking for an experienced Payroll Officer. This is a part time, temporary assignment.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Process payroll on a fortnightly basis for all employees, ensuring pays are fully approved to reach employee bank accounts on time, every time
  • Manage the fortnightly payroll process with 100% accuracy, in line with modern award andapproved timesheets. Ensuring no over or under payments are made to employees Process payroll tax liabilities and workers compensation payments
  • Manage the superannuation process with 100% accuracy, in line with legislative requirements
  • Balance the payroll on a fortnightly and monthly basis, ensuring full and complete records of all transactions are maintained for audit purposes
  • Generate regular reports

Role requirements & Criteria:

  • Advanced computer literacy
  • Experience in an ERP payroll platform e.g. Xero highly desirable but not compulsory
  • Excellent ability to work unsupervised
  • Payroll experience
  • Efficient with your scheduling
  • Empathetic, patient
  • Reliable, precise, organised, takes pride in work and professional presentation
