job description

This friendly organisation is looking for your payrolling capabilities to bring to the table and join their team. You will have previous experience working on a large payroll - ideally 40+ people and know how to interprete various awards. You will have an excellent understanding of superannuation

Our minimum requirements for this role are:

  • Accounting qualifications or equivalent
  • 5+ years experience using a payrolling system - ideally MYOB
  • Demonstrated payroll management experience
  • Advanced excel skills
  • Customer Service Focus
  • Strong communication skills
  • Time Management
  • Attention to detail and strong numerical skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure

The Responsibilities

  • Process time sheets, including; award interpretation
  • Respond to all customer queries (face to face, telephone, email)
  • Apply payroll knowledge, knowledge of company policies and procedures and problem solving skills to provide a quality response
  • Calculate and process pay adjustments
  • Assisting with queries and reports

This role is to start immediately.
