New 9 month fixed term contract opportunity, suited to candidates who are immediately available or on a short notice period who has experience with end to end payroll processing.
This 9 month FTC role is based in Rhodes (close to public transport & parking is available) and is offering $80,000 - $90,000 + super depending on experience. Hybrid working is offered, 2 days in the office and 3 days from home.
About the role:
This exciting payroll officer role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll officer with approx 3+ years experience. You will be reporting into a knowledgeable Payroll Manager and also be supported by the wider payroll team.
You will be processing high volume payroll using Preceda payroll system, current or prior experience with this system will be highly advantageous but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:
- End to end payroll processing for weekly staff members.
- Perform payroll administration and maintain the payroll system with up to date employee records.
- High volume processing of terminations.
- Setting up new hires, status adjustments, answering general payroll queries.
- Keep up to date with local legislation, awards, enterprise agreements, etc.
- Assist with any payroll projects or ad hoc tasks
About you:
- Preferably have worked payroll for 3+ years, processing end to end payroll.
- Preceda exposure would be beneficial but not essential.
- Ability to interpret awards and legislation.
- Experience completing a range of payroll courses would be an advantage.
- Knowledge or prior experience working within a high volume environment would be beneficial but not essential.
