As the Payroll Officer, you would be responsible for assisting with all activities relating to employee pay and benefits, for the local council’s eight hundred employees

Your tasks will include:

  • Entering payroll information;
  • Calculating wages;
  • Making payments;
  • Contribute to the maintenance and development of the payroll system (CHRIS21).

To be successful, you will come with the following attributes:

  • Excellent attention to detail when entering volume data;
  • Efficiency when carrying out payroll procedures;
  • A great level of understanding of the concept of confidentiality;
  • Experience in using payroll system CHRIS21 and knowledge of payroll best practices;
