Payroll Team Leader

  • Full time Payroll team leader position
  • Permanent Role, Acacia Ridge location, free parking available.
  • Strong Salary package $70k-$80k plus super

About the role and duties:

The vacancy is for a payroll team leader responsible for a team of 3.

  • Oversee the leadership and day to day running of the payroll function
  • Manage the delivery of effective payroll operations
  • Assist with the preparation of month and year end reports
  • Implement efficiencies within the department
  • Assist with answering complex queries from a range of different employees
  • Process new starters, terminations and redundancies
  • Assist and mentor the payroll team as required

Skills and Experience

  • Strong end to end Payroll experience within a large business
  • Experience across both manual and fully automated ERP payroll systems
  • Leadership experience preferred, self starter and motivator essential
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to build relationships with your team
  • Current knowledge of relevant legislation including, Superannuation, PAYG & Payroll Tax
