This is an exciting part-time opportunity to join a successful and growing organisation based in the Bankstown region. The role will see you take responsibility for the payroll function and provide support to HR.

Reporting to the HR Manager your duties will include:

  • Calculating and preparing fortnightly and monthly payruns
  • Responding to all pay queries within the established timeframes
  • Resolution of related discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner
  • Processing new starters and termination paperwork
  • Calculating and reconciling leave, tax and superannuation payments
  • Interpreting awards, agreements and contracts
  • Month end & year end reporting
  • Responsible for workers compensation
  • Provide administrative support to HR as required

To be considered for this opportunity you will need to have:

  • A proven track record in the area of payroll processing
  • Self-motivated with enthusiastic approach
  • Ability to work in a semi-structured and customer focused environment
  • Ability to work in a standalone capacity and to make key decisions
  • Knowledge of industrial relations and workers compensation legislation
