Our client is a leading, listed national Electrical business the Payroll Officer is primarily responsible for completing the timely and accurate processing of Payroll, including new starters, terminations and master data maintenance. Accurate interpretation of timesheets as well as processing invoices and uploads are an essential part of the payroll function.

Requirements for this end to end role also include internal and external reporting, weekly reconciliations and payments of PAYG withholding to the ATO to and preparation, reconciliation and posting of payroll journals.

This role will suit someone who is interested in understanding payroll systems and processes and has a willingness to learn and a process improvement attitude.

The successful applicant will be positive, willing and adaptable member of the team with strong time management skills, comfortable working in a fast paced environment and a focus on customer service. End-to-end payroll knowledge and prior experience in working with EBAs and Award are essential. ADP, SAP, Oracle or Preceda software knowledge will be highly advantageous.
