Randstad are currently recruiting for a Payroll & Finance officer for a Federal Government client looking for an immediate start.

In this role you will be working within a busy and high pressured branch. So if you enjoy being busy and having variety in your day then this role is for you.

As the successful candidate you will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic and be well organised and have the ability to prioritise your work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with clients over the phone
  • High volume, efficient and accurate data entry
  • Email correspondence
  • Accounts payable/receivable
  • Oversee reconciliation documents to ensure they meet compliance standards
  • General administration duties

Selection Criteria:

  • Prior experience in finance or administration roles
  • Strong data entry skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication both written and verbal
  • Ability to work within a high pressure, high volume environment
  • Experience with SAP and Technology One desirable
  • Experience working within a Government department desirable
