The Participant Experience Design division is the key driver of the Participant Service Improvement Plan and the Participant Service Charter. The division’s work is to design and deliver Scheme service improvements to provide quality participant outcomes and enhance their experience with the Agency, while also aiming to improve how the Agency’s frontline Service Delivery operates.
As an integral part of the team, this role requires the ability to lead, research and identify insights contributing to the Agency’s use of information and lead and manage process design improvement objectives.
Key Skills Required for this role:
- Proficiency in designing services and experiences that prioritise the needs and preferences of end users
- Ability to conduct both primary and secondary research, including developing research plans and guides, conducting user research including interviews, surveys and workshops to gain insights into user pain points and opportunities
- Creating user personas to represent different user groups and their characteristics
- Designing user journey maps to visualise and improve the user experience
- Proficiency in service blueprinting to define and map out service processes and enablers
- Strong understanding of design thinking methodologies and approaches and the ability to lead co-design sessions with stakeholders and users to gather input and ideas
- Experience in conducting usability testing to validate service design concepts and products

- Effective leadership and decision making skills and an ability to support and coach a team to develop trust, maximise knowledge and skills and ensure a commitment for successful performance outcomes
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency with visual design principles and agile methodologies
