Accredited Mental Health Professionals (Clinical Psychologists, Mental Health Social Workers, Nurses);

Working with a leading government organisation, based in Rockingham, Perth. The Outreach Program Support Officer is responsible for managing the region’s Outreach Program as a part of the Clinical Support Team. They are responsible for collaborating with other regional offices, government and community services to deliver a quality, holistic service.

Responsibilities as an OPSO:

  • Recruitment and onboarding of Outreach Providers
  • Coordination of the Outreach Program and Program Counsellors
  • Processing of client referrals and outreach workflow management
  • Providing the front line of customer service for clients who may be facing significant or complex challenges.
  • Additional core functions to assist the region in meeting high volume of clinical support work; including office management, outreach billing, secretariat duties or other corporate support activities.
  • Contribute to a positive workplace culture and supporting an environment that encourages a willingness to adopt participatory workplace practices.
  • Reporting and Quality Improvement to the organisations service delivery outcomes
  • Coordinate data and responses for the regional monthly reporting
  • Various Clinical Practice Management and Support tasks
  • In-Centre Mental Health Services support

Requirements of this position:

  • Qualified Psychologist with full AHPRA Registration OR a Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW)
  • Valid Working with Children (WWC) or Vulnerable People Check
  • A background knowledge in ADF is advantageous
