Our client is looking for experienced Osh Team Leader/Coordinator to join their team of exceptional staff. If you enjoy working with school aged children and would like to make a difference in their life then this is the role for you. This centre is family run and is looking for someone to become a part of that.

This before and after school care centre is located in Inner-West Sydney in Leicchardt. The role would not involve much admin as the the focus is all on the children at this service. Hours are 0645-0900 and then 1430-1800.

The OSHC Coordinator candidate is responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing programs for children aged 5 – 12 years in Before School Care and After School Care.
  • Providing leadership and direction to staff
  • Ensuring that all policies, procedures and legal/regulatory frameworks are adhered to
  • Building relationships with children, their families and school executive and staff
  • Overseeing the implementation of and adherence to relevant law, regulations and National Quality Framework including ‘My Time Our Place’

To be considered for this role you will have:

  • Experience in managing and developing staff
  • An innovative, motivated and passionate approach to creating quality education and care settings for children aged 5-12
  • Sound understanding of the National Law & Regulations, National Quality Framework including “My Time Our Place” framework
  • Diploma Qualifications in childcare - Desired
  • Relationship management skills and the ability to build sound networks in the school and community
