Our client is looking for experienced OSH Coordinator to join their team of exceptional staff. If you enjoy working with school aged children and would like to make a difference in their life then this is the role for you.

This before and after school care centre is located in Upper-North Shore of Sydney in Wahroonga.

No Split Shifts! Flexible hours Full Time hours to suit work-life balance.

The OSHC Coordinator candidate is responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing programs for children aged 5 – 12 years in Before School Care and After School Care.
  • Coordinating and conducting the Bus runs from 8 schools(upgrade to the full driving license paid for by the centre)
  • Providing leadership and direction to staff
  • Ensuring that all policies, procedures and legal/regulatory frameworks are adhered to
  • Building relationships with children, their families and school executive and staff
  • Carrying out administration requirements of the service
  • Overseeing the implementation of and adherence to relevant law, regulations and National Quality Framework including ‘My Time Our Place’
  • Knowledge of QuikKids programme

Essential Criteria

  • Approved Diploma in Children’s Services (OSHC)
  • Approved first aid qualification
  • Supervisor Certificate and acceptance of the role of Nominated Supervisor(Or willing to obtain)
  • Acceptance of the role of Educational Leader under the Education and Care Services
  • Relevant child protection clearance i.e. Working With Children Check/Working With
  • Vulnerable People check
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of the National Quality Standard, current practices in early childhood programs and implementing a quality educational program
  • Understanding of diversity and inclusive practice
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities with intermediate Microsoft skills
  • Demonstrated financial management
