We have recently partnered with a beautiful OSHC located in the Arundel region, currently licensed for 60.

For this position, we are ideally looking for an experienced Coordinator or Assistant Coordinator with a Diploma of Early Years or Diploma of Children's Services.

As a Coordinator you, alongside the childcare Director, will have the autonomy to plan and implement your own OSHC program, establish strong relationships with the P&C and lead, develop & manage an experienced team of educators.

This is a full-time position, core hours, no split shifts.

Overall, together with the support of the childcare Director, you will lead and manage the service on a day-to-day basis.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Previous experience in a similar position
  • Ability to develop warm and respectful relationships with families and children
  • Strong behaviour management experience
  • Develop and evaluate a FUN and engaging program
  • Foster strong relationships with the school community as well as the P&C
  • Demonstrated capacity to lead, coordinate and supervise your team of educators
  • Demonstrated understanding of contemporary child care and early learning practices and issues.
  • Effective time management, people management and interpersonal skills.

Essential Criteria:

  • A Diploma of Early Years
  • Strong communication skills
  • An awareness of and commitment to the National Regulations, Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Current First Aid Certificate, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training or willingness to undertake
  • Working with Children check/valid Blue Card
