OSHC Coordinator – Northern Beaches

If you are looking for a smaller service in which you can build strong relationships and build on your knowledge this will be a great opportunity to build a great programme and strong relationships.. You will be working split shifts, 2 hours in the morning and 4 in the afternoon with admin time also included, however most of the time will be spent on the floor with children.

The service caters to 10 children in the morning with 15-20 in the afternoon The role only runs in term time but there is the opportunity to take on extra hours within different services.

Preferably you will have a qualification in Early Childhood, however if you have experience and the correct attitude, we are willing to accept applications from alternative candidates.

Working for this organisation will see you delivering and designing the programme within the services, as it is such a small service you will get to know the children and their interests and be able to create a personalised programme. Rostering, recruitment and bookings will be dealt with by head office, enabling maximum time for you to do what you enjoy doing best!

Creating strong relationships with parents and caregivers in this role is essential, you will need to be professional, bubbly and outgoing.

Essentials:

  • Be flexible, reliable, spontaneous and enthusiastic, have lots of energy and be passionate
  • Be initiative so you can complete set tasks and make them fun and interesting
  • Fantastic communication skills to be able to work effectively with co-workers, children, parents, school staff and the community.
  • Have your current First Aid certificate – Asthma & Anaphylaxis (or willing to obtain).
  • You must be able to meet the requirements of Educational Leader and Certified Supervisor

To be successful you MUST have

  • Current NSW WWCC
  • Qualification’s in Child Care desirable
  • Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis
  • Completed Child protection
