Our client is looking for experienced OSH Coordinator to join their team of exceptional staff. If you enjoy working with school aged children and would like to make a difference in their life then this is the role for you. This service is looking for someone willing to commit and continue to build the excellent relationship with the school and families.

This is a rare occasion where the service are offering flexibility with shift times to give that work/life balance.

This before and after school care centre is located in South of Sydney, near to Hurstville in Connells Point.

The OSHC Coordinator candidate is responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing programs for children aged 5 – 12 years in Before School Care and After School Care.
  • Maintain and build on the relationship with the school
  • Providing leadership and direction to staff
  • Ensuring that all policies, procedures and legal/regulatory frameworks are adhered to
  • Building relationships with children, their families and school executive and staff
  • Carrying out administration requirements of the service
  • Overseeing the implementation of and adherence to relevant law, regulations and National Quality Framework including ‘My Time Our Place’
  • Knowledge of QuikKids programme

To be considered for this role you will have:

  • Experience in managing and developing a team of staff
  • An innovative, motivated and passionate approach to creating quality education and care settings for children aged 5-12
  • Sound understanding of the National Law & Regulations, National Quality Framework including “My Time Our Place” framework
  • Diploma Qualifications in childcare
  • Strong relationship management skills and the ability to build sound networks in the school and community
