Our client is looking for experienced OSHC Coordinator to join their team of exceptional staff. If you enjoy working with school aged children and would like to make a difference in their life then this is the role for you.

This before and after school care centre is located in Springwood which is close to the Blue Mountains. The contract is 12 months fixed term with part time hours of 25-30 per week.

The OSH Coordinator candidate is responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing programs for children aged 5 – 12 years in Before School Care and After School Care.
  • Show commitment to continuing a promising relationship with your internal & external stakeholders
  • Providing leadership and direction to staff
  • Ensuring that all policies, procedures and legal/regulatory frameworks are adhered to
  • Building relationships with children, their families and school executive and staff
  • Carrying out administration requirements of the service
  • Overseeing the implementation of and adherence to relevant law, regulations and National Quality Framework including ‘My Time Our Place’

To be considered for this role you will have:

  • Experience in managing and developing a team of staff
  • An innovative, motivated and passionate approach to creating quality education and care settings for children aged 5-12
  • Sound understanding of the National Law & Regulations, National Quality Framework including “My Time Our Place” framework
  • Diploma Qualifications in childcare or similar - Mandatory
  • Strong relationship management skills and the ability to build sound networks in the school and community
  • Identify & Respond child protection certificate
