About the opportunity

Our client is one of the largest providers of children’s services in NSW and provides quality education and care services.

We are currently seeking a part time coordinator to work at an OSH service in Orange. You will be required to work a total of 25 hours per week between the hours of 2:30-6pm and another 7.5 hours throughout the week to complete administrative duties.

As the Coordinator, your key responsibilities may include but not limited to:

  • Design, manage and lead the program and a team
  • Overseeing and implementing the service roster and payroll
  • Design programs to contribute to the children’s ongoing development and wellbeing
  • Act as the first point of contact for children, parents, carers and staff
  • Administrative tasks i.e. reports, documentation, responding to emails & phone calls

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Education or relevant qualifications
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates
  • Current WWCC

Skills & experience

  • Established previous experience in a leadership position
  • Experience in inclusion support, community services or mental health programs desirable
  • Ability to lead, motivate and establish a team
  • An understanding of the NQF and NQS
  • Eligibility to take on the role of Nominated Supervisor
  • Understanding of diversity and inclusive practice
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities
  • Extensive understanding of digital platforms
