Beautiful 105 place service is seeking an Assistant Coordinator to join their Leadership Team in Enoggera area.

You will work alongside the Coordinator and two educational leaders with the daily operations of the service. Perfect position for someone that enjoys leading a team.

In addition to the typical responsibilities of an OSHC educator, the primary role of the Assistant Coordinator will be to:

  • Facilitate team building and learning through coaching and mentoring, monitoring, guiding and supporting educators in the implementation of programmed activities
  • Evaluate programs regularly and develop systems to ensure appropriate modifications are made to meet the needs of the children, whilst also promoting continuous improvement
  • Manage and organise the development of the service program, monitoring the implementation of activities to ensure they are child-oriented and developmentally appropriate

The position is permanent part-time, with a minimum of 30 hours per week. Hours of work vary between 6:30am to 6pm.

The successful applicant will need to be available for additional hours as required, e.g. during vacation care, staff meetings and training or when the Coordinator is absent, so flexibility is essential.


  • An ACECQA approved Cert 3 or higher in Children's Services
  • A current Working with Children Check or equivalent, current driver’s licence, first aid certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training) and resuscitation certificate.
  • At least 12 months experience in OSHC, with 6 months in a position of mentoring and training staff
  • A sound understanding of My Time Our Place, Qikkids and CCS is preferred - though training will be provided to the right candidate
  • The skills to lead other educators, motivating them to excel as they deliver fun and educational programs
  • A proven ability to build and nurture respectful and mutually-beneficial relationships with children and their families
  • A supervisor Certificate or willingness to obtain
