job description

The Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring product is available and delivered in full and on time. Effective management of stock holding, including demand planning and purchasing. We are looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills who can provide support to all areas of the business and be looking to continually improve on the solid base which currently exists.

Comprehensive Inventory analysis


Supply/Demand planning training and management


S&OP leadership – including, but not limited to:
Development and implementation of working templates for the S&OP process
Planning, scheduling and chairing of S&OP meetings with Sales and Marketing teams
Alignment of demand planning and sales forecasts with assistance from SAP Demand/Supply Planner.
Supply chain management – Intercompany
Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships
Manage escalation process
SLOB stock reporting & management
Responsible for the communication and reporting of SLOB stock to Sales and Marketing teams
Returns & NCR validation
Maintenance of Material Master Data in collaboration with the Marketing team
Ensure all documentation related to stock movements are filled away for access as per audit requirements.
Provide regular updates to sales team regarding any current or potential discrepancies in product movement
Provide detailed, reports to the Management team (on a monthly basis), including (but not limited to) KPI’s on logistics, performance against Sales Forecasts and targets, supply and demand forecasts, and overall performance of Warehouse Team.


Work cooperatively with Sales and Marketing Managers to exceed customer expectations
Effectively roll out new processes and procedures as directed by HQ and the Managing Director, in line with local requirements
Effective management of SAP Demand/Supply Planner and Warehouse employees to ensure business continuity

EXPERIENCE


Detailed SAP experience
10+ year experience in logistics, supply chain, inventory & demand planning and warehouse management
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
Bachelor of Logistics & Supply Chain preferred
As a min. Bachelor of Business, Accounting or MBA.
