job description

We are currently looking for an Operations Manager to work for a busy worldwide IT consulting company; this role will be responsible for implementing, enforcing and continuously improving operational core activities that support efficient and compliant management of the overall Australian business.

This role needs someone who has a high attention to detail, strong stakeholder management, ability to streamline process and that can work under pressure.

The main responsibilities are:

  • Keeping track of the Project portfolio and liaise with the overseas teams
  • Work with sales teams, account managers and directors to keep track of SDLC
  • Maintain a high level track of the financials so reporting is key
  • Keep a track of the compliance
  • Liaise with HR on and open roles problems and issues with new hires
  • Coordinate Capex and R&D functions
  • Track business risks and issues and escalate if necessary

Skills / Competencies

  • Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively execute process adoption and change
  • Ability to design and implement business processes that are outcome focused
  • Self-motivated in determination to meeting deadlines and quality standards
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, dependencies, sources of information and stakeholders
  • Excellent presentation skills to varied audience
  • Focus on attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness of information
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical
  • Team-oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and adaptable
  • Experience working cross-culturally and in remote situations
  • Eloquent communication, strong command of spoken and written English
  • Demonstrate leadership aptitude and potential
  • 2 years min commercial experience
  • Bachelors Degree in Business or something simular
