Operations Manager – Children’s Services - Victoria

My client a highly reputable early childhood organization that owns six centres across Victoria is looking for an experienced Operations Manager. Join a growing company who are in the process of acquiring state of the art services within Victoria with the next ELC due to open more this year!

Reporting directly into the owner and Board of Directors we are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Operations Manager to lead, develop and inspire their teams. You will be supported by two area managers who will report directly into you. We are looking for an Operation Manager that is not only passionate about providing the best care and education for children, but has strong business and financial acumen with a strategic mindset.

You will be responsible for overseeing and developing budgets, developing policies and procedures, ensuring the centres meet current regulations, evaluating centre processes and building a great team culture. Having experience in opening brand new ELC’s is a must as the company is growing rapidly and a large portion of the role is being involved in acquisitions right through to centre opening.

The successful candidate will be rewarded with a very competitive salary package and KPI bonus.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a Diploma of Children services or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education
  • Business management qualifications (desirable)
  • Be experienced in multi site management
  • Be confident with leading and mentoring staff
  • Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Be experienced in implementing the National Quality Framework
  • Have a solid understanding of the Early Years’ Frameworks
  • Have extensive understanding of Victorian regulations/legislation
  • P & L management
  • Analyse and Improve organisational process
