Office Administration

Our client, a very well recognised Engineering company are looking to recruit their next valuable team member! They are based in the Penrith region, giving you an opportunity to work close to home. With recent growth within the business, they require an Office Administration/All rounder to support their team. This is a permanent opportunity working full time hours that are flexible, Monday to Friday.

Some of your main responsibilities will include:

  • Comply with health and safety responsibilities, safe work practices and procedures, and undertake Department audits and training as required.
  • Administrative duties – providing seamless administration support to the team and Project Manager
  • Develop, implement and monitor office systems, procedures and methods, adapting processes as required to facilitate efficient team/business operations
  • Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies
  • Manage agendas/travel arrangements/appointments etc. for the upper management
  • Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)
  • Submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned
  • Processing Orders
  • Invoicing and data entry
  • Accounts payable and receivable
  • Updating timesheet for payroll for about (100-150 employees)
  • General administration (filing, typing, formatting documents, providing documents)
  • Manage daily rostering of support workers and shifts as requested by coordinators

What you’ll need to succeed

  • An experienced Administrator with an eye for detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Drive and resilience; able to work well under pressure
  • Excellent organising and time management skills
  • Prior experience in MYOB and intermediate Excel skills would be an advantage
