The Job:

Due to company growth an exciting opportunity has arisen for either an Occupational Therapist OR Speech pathologist OR Developmental Educator to work full time (Part-Time will be considered) and will eventually work with up to a maximum of 5 billable hours per day!

The position is to start ASAP and will primarily be responsible for providing ongoing therapy to both adults and children and mostly NDIS clients in a variety of settings including: on site / in school and home settings. Supervision and professional development are available for the successful applicant.

  • Mobile Occupational Therapy sessions
  • Treatment planning
  • Progress Notes after each patient session
  • Sensory/Social/Functional Assessments using a range of tools and approaches
  • Prescription of assistive technology
  • Liase with support workers in respect to client needs
  • Adapting ways to engage with clients to build skills to overcome barriers

Essential Criteria:

  • Eligibility for membership to AHPRA or SPA
  • WWCC or willing to obtain one
  • Creativity and enthusiasm in developing individualised therapy sessions
  • Great communication skills - verbal and written
  • Current drivers licence and car

Desirable criteria:

  • Experience working with children
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Experience conducting standardised assessments
