job description

My client is seeking to fill a Project Team Leader Position. The successful candidate will play an integral part within an NDIS project team. The Project Team Leader is responsible for implementing the operational business plan for this Not For Profits activities related to the NDIS, and include supervision of a small team to achieve the identified outcomes. You will be responsible for coordinating all activities of the NDIS project team that ensure the success of NDIS projects. This will include, research, scoping, planning, stakeholder engagement, risk assessment, implementation, promotion, evaluation and reporting.

You will need:

  • Operational knowledge of NDIS processes including eligibility, planning, implementation and reviews, with an understanding of the supporting NDIA infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of carer issues and needs especially in relation to engaging with NDIS
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with confidence to diverse stakeholders
  • Good user knowledge of current ICT platforms; web based, and cloud-based interactivity.
  • Be a strategic thinker and forward planner

Selection Criteria:

  • A high standard of written communication including the ability to prepare high quality correspondence, reports and project updates.
  • An ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as in a small team, using own initiative and judgement to manage a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated high level of organisational ability to work with accuracy, set priorities and meet multiple deadlines within required timeframes.
  • Experience in liaising with a diverse range of people and an ability to act with diplomacy and discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential issues.
