Carrier Air conditioning are the international leader in High Technology Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration solutions. We have an outstanding opportunity for a National Technical / Warranty Manager who will take responsibility for the effective and efficient management of all technical issues, Warranty claims and training requirements for the Service division.

As a specialist, the business requires the incumbent to embrace the HVAC Chiller industry both nationally and internationally. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


Internally

  • Provide technical support to Field Technicians
  • Hold national presence and liaise with all key stakeholders on all technical / Warranty issues / updates.
  • Monitor and report on Warranty / Commissioning performance, ensuring timely closure of jobs and correct cost allocations
  • Drive outcomes across the business to ensure renewal conversion.
  • Meet the administration requirement for National Warranty Manager
  • Identify, document, communicate and maintain updated work instructions and procedures for Warranty / Commissioning requirements
  • Auditing and assessment of compliance on Warranty DLP maintenance and Commissioning allowances to ensure best practice is being achieved whilst working within fiscally responsible approach based on customer spend parameters
  • Provide documented feedback to Branch Service Manager on performance issues
  • Implement and build required training packages relating to product range and HVAC field and distribute (train the trainer package).

Externally

  • Ensure prompt customer service, accurate and efficient responses
  • Liaise with the relevant factories for Factory Warranty claims and product Quality issues.
  • Assistance to resolve and finalise outstanding Warranty claims / disputes with end users.
  • Communicate with SEAP region for continual improvement opportunities in relation to Warranty issues.
  • Assist with sourcing Warranty parts from Warehouses / factories for claims
  • National / International travel as required
  • Central liaison point with relevant factories to ensure latest product knowledge is gained
  • Source and distribute Service bulletins relating to Commercial product range
  • Understand / Source latest market movements / updates for the HVAC industry

The National Technical / Warranty manager actively participates as a Service Team member and will have high level of technical aptitude and minimum of 6-10 years in HVAC Chiller Service industry.A degree qualification in a Business discipline is preferred.
