A brand new opportunity presents itself as a National Network Development Manager within a global automotive parts company based right here in Melbourne. As they focus on reinvigorating this business off-shoot for their licensees, the successful candidate will have an integral role in driving best practice across all business principles. From business planning, to sales negotiation, large deals closed and customer service delivery, the role of the National Network Development Manager is commercially focused and with it presents an incredible opportunity to launch this business facet to its highest potential. In this role you will be an exceptional strategic planner who is able to execute and deliver business goals successfully.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Building the Go-to-Market strategy for Australia.
  • Leads the direct reports (2) with strong leadership and management.
  • Builds and executes an action plan to accelerate the growth and professionalism of the business network.
  • Identify suitable new partners & locations to achieve ambitious growth plans for the network.
  • Represents the business at industry events and expositions.
  • Defines the Retail SOP & best practice - in collaboration with external consultant.
  • Manages the relationship of suppliers nationally.
  • Manages annual conference including content and delivery with key external partners.
  • Develops training plan for the network.

Preferred Experience required for this role:

  • Expert in automotive and/or tyre retail
  • Capable of strategic leadership
  • Must have previous industry experience
  • Retail and business experience
  • Managing the operations of multi-site retail outlets in the automotive/tyre industry
  • Understands how to manage the financial health of a retail operation
  • People management & leadership role experience
  • Demonstrated success in coaching and influencing teams
  • Ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, customers & suppliers
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills; articulate and clear
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated experience in meeting and exceeding objectives
