As a member of the National Marketing team, this role will deliver strategic marketing plans for the respective growth brands and deliver exceptional marketing execution. As a leader of a team of 3, this role will also coach and develop team members to achieve business results and create an environment that fosters a belief in positioning the company as the ‘best place to work’.

The role:

- This role is responsible for the 2 major private label brands.
- Improve shopper attitudes towards the stores (value perception and private label affinity)
- Deliver growth in retail sales and shopper traffic (as per targets quantified in business plan)
- Marketing Campaigns: Lead development of marketing campaigns from briefing through to execution

The ideal profile:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Marketing or Business

- Demonstrated min 7 years’ experience at Marketing Manager level, preferably with retail experience
- Experience managing Private Labels A MUST
- At least 5 years of Management experience
- Proven track record of developing highly effective marketing programs
- Strong interpersonal skills required to effectively manage relationships with internal and external contacts
- Commercial acumen with ability to understand P&L’s, budgets and income formulation
- Thrives in a high performance culture with a ‘can do’ attitude
