About the role

The National Account Manager Independents (ALDI, Costco, Petrol, Convenience, and Wholesalers) will be responsible for the development and delivery of the Business Plan. The role is best divided into 2 parts with key external engagement required, while in parallel developing and influencing the internal agenda. The role is responsible for the chilled spreads category. There is an intricate web of shopper profiles, commercial mandates and stock challenges. Delivering new business is the core function of this role.

Responsibilities

  • Achievement of Customer Annual Plan Sales Targets within Trade Spend levels and delivery of the Joint Business Plan (JBP) for key independent customers
  • Achievement and management of volume and trade spend forecast and targets
  • Manage the customer business portfolio to achieve business goals and metrics.
  • Develop, execute and monitor the strategic plan
  • Execute effective category review processes and analysis
  • Drive maximum return on trade investment



Skills and experience

  • Minimum 7+ years relevant FMCG/Account Management experience
  • Minimum 2 years Independent experience including Aldi, Costco, Petrol, Convenience and Wholesalers
  • Polished and confident presentation capability
  • Technical skills in account management
  • Effective in cross functional ways of working
  • Negotiation skills
