Our client is a Melbourne CBD based Multi National FMCG Company who holds a culture that is innovative & high performing.

You’ll join a select and specialist Key Accounts team working as part of the Commercial Strategy team, working in a challenging environment that will demand the best of your skills and abilities.

This role has been identified as a career pathway position to a step through to manage the majors within an upcoming senior commercial remit.

RISE TO THE CHALLENGE

As a National Account Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic direction of the National P&C accounts which hold a sizable percentage of overall business revenue.

  • Creating, actioning and reviewing key account strategies and plans for key national retail accounts
  • Conducting regular business reviews with your clients in order to maximise strategies and
  • Executing promotional trade programs through your clients
  • Strive to identify innovative ways to lower the cost of doing business and maximise ROI
  • Effectively manage the Range Review process in line with agreed objectives
  • Ability to manage the P&L as well as deliver on business targets
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage internal & external stakeholders to deliver the best outcomes

Our client is hiring the best - you will have:

  • High levels of financial literacy and commercial acumen
  • Well-developed negotiation skills and strategic planning experience
  • Experience obtained in a similar role within the FMCG Industry
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and be an effective user of Aztec or Nielsen systems
