National Account Manager – Fashion Retail / ecommerce

Our client is a household name in footwear and have an opening at present for a National Account Manager to further grow their presence in Australia. Are you currently in fashion or retail working at a head office relationship level? want to work for a Global player with opportunity to work Internationally at some point?

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for sales to key accounts across fashion majors including but not limited to David Jones, Myers, Amazon, and other footwear leaders
  • Achieve sales goals by quarter and category
  • Develop financial plans, assortment strategy and marketing strategy for accounts on an annual/ seasonal basis led by the business and sales strategy.
  • Manage account level P&L to deliver targeted GM$ requirements.
  • Develop seasonal marketing plans to support key initiatives.
  • Continual sales analysis to manage product life cycles, inventory models and rates of sale.
  • Executes excellence through assortment, visuals and marketing collateral.
  • Proactive account management, by identifying opportunities to improve existing business and create new business.
  • Coordinate and prepare seasonal footwear product presentations to be presented to senior management internal and externally.
  • Monitor competitor’s activities and performance, along with implementing strategies and tactics to compete.

Qualifications

  • Graduate degree required
  • Experience in a national/key account management position within fashion / retail space
  • Understanding of retailer’s financial metrics- sales, inventory, turn, GM$.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task, manage time and work against business deadlines in a multiple time-zone environment.
  • Exposure and working knowledge of the ecommerce channel
