Music Teacher

Are you an enthusiastic Music teacher with a passion and vision to create something great? Would you like to shape the subject the way you like it? Do you love working at a small private school in regional QLD? This might be the position you have been looking for!

About the school

  • Private independent P-12 school in North QLD
  • Small, intimate setting. Look after each other like family
  • Non denominational
  • Classroom sizes of 20 kids max!

About the role

  • Years P-12
  • Full time Music, with possibly one class of another subject
  • Responsible for the school musical as well as a vocal ensemble/choir
  • Lots of room for creativity as you are the only Music teacher at the school
  • Responsible for development and implementation of co-curricular music activities
  • Lead, support and encourage students and staff in the music program

About you

you:

  • Are an Australian Citizen or Resident with valid work rights
  • Have a valid current registration with QCT or ability to get this on short notice
  • Have experience teaching both primary and secondary music
  • Preferably can play the piano
