Our client is a multi-award-winning mortgage brokerage based on the Central Coast which has experienced continued growth and success and therefore requires a motivated and energetic individual to assist the Director in managing the large pipeline of new and existing clients.

Core duties:

⎯ Sales support
o Prepare documentation for initial client meeting (property valuation, internal documents for completion, ID check, fact sheets for clients). Review/monitor broker’s work schedule to ensure broker is prepared for meeting. Confirm appointments and send pre-meeting information pack.
o Screen new lead opportunities and arrange appointments (phone/face to face) where possible.
Attend initial client meetings (office based only) when appropriate.

⎯ Proactively manage mortgage applications and settlement process for mortgage broker/s;
o Liaise with the client on behalf of the broker
o Prepare client information requests (email or FileInvite), chase outstanding or incorrect documentation.
o Check and review client documentation to ensure it meets compliance and lender requirements
o Review lender credit policies and liaise with lender BDMs to ensure application meets policy standards
o Research property for lender restrictions, prepare property reports and order valuations
o Update client files with documentation, communication, schedule and complete tasks in Mercury

⎯ Maintaining our client database and loan application software
o Update client/lender documentation into Mercury, update opportunity status, apply automated task templates, categorise documentation, update assets and liabilities when advised, remove TFNs from documentation, update clients contact details on settlement, create notes for detailed information.
o Run funding and borrowing calculations, product comparisons for broker review.
o Upload documentation to cloud storage.

This role will also be responsible for the asset finance opportunities, including assisting clients with the preparation of consumer and commercial asset finance, collating and checking supporting documentation, liaising with the client to present the finance options through to settlement.

⎯ After settlement care
o Conduct quarterly and annual reviews, request interest rate reductions, update valuations, complete compliance requirements, set follow ups for future changes/key milestones.

- Asset finance

o Assist clients with the preparation of consumer and commercial asset finance, collating and checking supporting documentation, liaising with the client to present the finance options through to settlement.

⎯ strong analytical, process & problem-solving skills
