Lead Educator - Group Leader - Oxley area

Randstad education is working in partnership with a wonderful childcare centre to find a suitably qualified educator to join their team. Our client offers a brand new 44 place Montessori based centre that offers a cohesive, transparent and innovative team culture.

We are looking for a Diploma trained educator that can offer the highest level of education to the 1-3 year old age group. This centre and team in return will provide strong leadership, mentoring and all the support you need. The centre is based in the Oxley area, it follows the Montessori curriculum and is beautifully resourced.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with Montessori, you will thrive working within a team and be able to add value to the centre with your passion, experience and genuine desire to provide high quality education.

YOUR ROLE

As Lead Educator, you will design, implement and evaluate Montessori educational programs for individuals and groups of children that inspire them to investigate, create and explore.

You will also support your team of educators in their implementation of these programs, contributing to their effective work practices and assisting them to make adaptations to meet the developmental needs of all children.


Requirements

  • a Diploma of Children's Services or ACEQCA approved equivalent
  • previous experience in a Montessori setting
  • a current Working with Children Check or equivalent, current driver’s licence, first aid certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training) and resuscitation certificate.
  • experience developing portfolios for each child
  • a proven ability to build and nurture respectful and mutually-beneficial relationships with children and their families
  • a strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
