job description

Key to success in this role is an ability to be organised, provide energy, motivation and enthusiasm towards business development on any given day - the client wants to challenge industry norms and provide a positive place to work for those who want to work hard and succeed past targets.

Key areas of responsibility include (but not limited to);

    • Lead new customer acquisition to achieve or exceed on individual target for Sales against allocated territory by being current in your understanding of company products and services and being current with trends and developments within the telecommunications industry.
    • Building a pipeline of new acquisition opportunities. By working in a consultative capacity with company product specialists and pre-sales specialists and individually to source, qualify and close new leads.
    • Strategic Sales planning to tailor a sales approach to the territory to meet or exceed sales targets by facilitating sales briefings and proposing appropriate solutions for business improvement and problem solving to potential clients.
    • Actively involved in team initiatives based around personal development, team building and celebrating group success.
    • Build corporate level working relationships for effective business development by leveraging across corporate resources to meet customer needs.
    • Develop relationships across our client's C-level and being able to live and breathe the companies values and objectives.

About you:

    • Essential for the role is your strong knowledge of the SaaS, Software, ICT or Telecommunications industry
    • Build corporate level working relationships for effective business development by leveraging across corporate resources to meet customer needs.
    • BDM, sales or strategic selling background - must be correlated to technology.
    • Must be driven by growth, ability to hunt new business and develop C-Level relationships.
    • Experience in team environments - those who love sporting environments focused around collaboration and winning are highly encouraged to apply.
    • Solutions focused - MANDATORY - you must consider yourself someone who is a problem solver and looks to create value first.
