A fantastic opportunity has become available for a suitably qualified mental health professional (Case Worker/Clinical Psychologist) working with a leading government organisation, based in Townsville.

Working with Veterans, ADF personnel and their families, you will provide high quality clinical services including evidence based individual, couple and family counselling, and case management.

You will play a key role in making a substantial difference in the lives of veterans and their families!


The Role:

Being a true professional all intervention implemented will be evidence based with tried and proven results. With the patient, and their wellbeing, at the forefront of your thinking, you will provide:

  • Ongoing asessment of mental health
  • Complex case management
  • Liaise and form partnerships with key external stakeholders
  • Community development and service promotion
  • Transform the lives of ADF members, Veterans and their families

About You:

  • Qualified Psychologist with AHPRA Registration, Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with full Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) registration
  • Valid Working with Children check & Vulnerable peoples check
  • Extensive experience within the clinical case management space (2 + years)
  • Defence and Veterans Affairs knowledge (distinct advantage)
