An iconic food manufacturer is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to join the team. This is a company that will offer you career progression and opportunities to develop your skills.

This iconic company is seeking a new Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to join the team. The role requires experience in managing a min of 6 technicians and the ability to coach, mentor and drive a compliance and safety culture.

This role will be responsible for managing maintenance to service the mechanical needs of production and the site. It will be responsible for improving site maintenance standards, support continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining OH&S and quality standards, assist in the management of maintenance costs within budget and utilise the programmed maintenance system to maintain and improve the reliability of the production equipment.

If you have:

  • Strong leadership skills,
  • Have managed upwards of 6 team members
  • Reviewed production schedules and planned maintenance work accordingly
  • Worked in a food / pharma manufacturing facility
  • Managed a CMMS database
  • Have good problem solving and diagnostic skills
  • The ability to coach and mentor staff
  • Have a strong safety focus

AND

  • Have a trade background (Mechanical) or degree
  • Minimum 5 years in a relevant manufacturing environment
