Role Overview: We are looking for a dedicated Mechanical Fitter with experience in servicing, installing, and maintaining lift systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, a passion for precision, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation: Expertly install new lift systems, ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
- Servicing: Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of lift systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Repairs: Diagnose and repair faults or malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear explanations and updates on service progress.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including service reports and maintenance logs.
- Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Travel: Travel to surrounding regions as required to perform service, maintenance, and installation tasks.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter, preferably in the lift industry.
- Strong understanding of lift systems, including electrical and mechanical components.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and repair complex issues.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work on-call and outside regular hours if required.
