    The Marketing Coordinator is accountable for

    • providing professional, effective and efficient sales and marketing coordination and support which results in the delivery of high quality services
    • assisting with marketing and business development activities and maintaining a range of databases and spreadsheets;
    • contributing to relationship management and providing high quality customer service to a range of customers and stakeholders including providing accurate and timely responses to a range of enquiries;
    • assisting with the delivery of a range of activities including digital magazine, print and online directory, website and social media content and direct marketing (post and email); which contributes to key objectives of the organisation

    A major challenge associated with the role is managing competing priorities through efficient prioritisation and time management.

    • Social media coordination, including schedule, draft and post content on the Facebook page.
    • Provide coordination and support for sponsorships including updating trackers and calendars.
    • Contribute to coordination of the digital magazine including:
    • Load digital magazine content on website (using Squiz Matrix) and send for approval.
    • Coordinate competitions including liaising with promoters and winners, adding to website and removing promos from website on expiration date.
    • Facilitate weekly staff meetings where scheduled content is discussed.
    • What’s On events including sourcing events, adding to website and removing from website when event passed.
    • Send editions to contributors on the day of distribution.

    Competencies Required:

    • Ability to maintain a range of databases and spreadsheets with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to meet timelines, manage own workload and effectively deal with competing and changing priorities.
    • Ability to select and apply appropriate communication and interpersonal skills to negotiate and liaise effectively with a diverse range of people at all levels in person, over the phone and in writing.
    • Ability to learn new processes and systems/applications quickly.
    • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

    Competencies Desirable:

    • Experience in Squiz Matrix for coordination of content on website.
    • Experience in social media, in particular Facebook content management.
    • Experience in Objective CMS.
    • Experience in Salesforce and Marketing Cloud database applications.
