About the Role
This position sits within the university’s centralised marketing and communications division’s Global Marketing team. As an Email Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing a range of services to support the transition and delivery of a new email marketing platform. The position will contribute to the delivery of the university’s strategic marketing and communications objectives, programs and initiatives. This includes supporting the Global Marketing team and broader division by facilitating the development and execution of campaigns supporting future students, alumni, donors and other external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and manage the university’s redeveloped lead nurture journey emails
- Contribute to and support a range of processes such as ensuring accuracy and level of quality of University marketing assets, decision-making, change management, compliance, quality and performance reporting
- Support the development and testing of self-service eDM templates
- Provide sound and timely specialist advice and support to stakeholders in relation to lead nurture and email marketing
- Plan, implement and coordinate a program of marketing processes for defined audience groups, including training documentation and video development for university stakeholders in accordance with agreed standards and timeframes
- Scale the rollout and onboarding of users to the new email marketing platform
- In addition to supporting daily email builds and sends on the existing platform
About You
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating acquisition, engagement and retention automation campaigns within a marketing automation system, including multi-channel and multi-track campaigns, including familiarity with email platforms such as Marketing Cloud
- Excellent organisational skills, including ability to set priorities, manage time and plan work to meet deadlines for marketing campaigns and activities
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact with a diverse range of stakeholders and negotiate positive outcomes to complex problems
- A degree/tertiary qualification in marketing or another related field with subsequent relevant experience
- Extensive experience and specialist expertise or broad knowledge in Email Marketing
