Role and Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will:

  • Define, implement and execute marketing and email automation strategy including driving engagement, user acquisition and user conversion
  • Test and optimise all aspects of the user journey flow with the app, from download to conversion, to in app engagement and app experience via email
  • Identify opportunities to improve and optimise engagement and facilitate end-to-end conversion, including testing, launch and targeting processes
  • Working closely with the UX Designer to leverage your knowledge and experience of the user journey to design engagement and conversion strategies
  • Own email and push automation strategy, optimising existing funnels and developing new funnels which assist in acquiring new users, converting new users, recovering lapsed users and engaging with both new and existing users
  • Develop automation strategies to optimise performance across all other active acquisition, conversion and engagement channels, including web, email, push, social and mobile
  • Develope positioning, messaging, competitive analysis reporting and work to translate these into strategies and concise and compelling customer-facing materials


  • Tertiary qualification – degree in marketing or similar field
  • Professional experience in a Digital Marketing position which includes customer engagement through apps in a fast-paced environment is essential
  • A proven track record of implementing email automation strategies and marketing funnels across multiple channels to increase engagement, user experience and drive revenue
  • Strong experience with email and push automation platforms
  • Proficient in the Google suite of products, particularly docs and sheets
  • A passion for digital marketing, marketing automation strategies, data analysis, user experience, and a strategic mind with creative flair
